“Had been in constant pain for the past couple years. I got to where I could not lift my left arm comfortably, it began to effect my sleep. My Primary Care Doctor referred me to Dr Rabenold. I had my right rotator cuff repaired about 6 years ago by a different surgeon and it was a painful recovery. Took 5 weeks to get range of motion back. Dr Rabenold did such a great job, I only took pain meds on the 1st day after surgery. The pain was almost none existent. On the 3rd day after surgery I was able to take off the sling and do arm excercises without pain. On day 4 I had full range of motion. Dr Rabenold is a great doctor. “I am thankful and very satisfied from the work performed by Dr. Rabenold. The damage of my shoulder was far from typical from any other patient. But, with Dr. Rabenold’s expertise; he was able to repair it just as new.”

“I had both shoulder rotator cuffs repaired in the 1990s. Since the procedures were done, I have had trouble with both shoulders. In November of 2010 I fell and injured my right shoulder. The orthopedic surgeon, who had repaired my shoulders previously, said he couldn’t do any more for me. He then told me about “reverse shoulder” surgery and recommended me to Dr. Rabenold.

I went to see Dr. Rabenold and he said I was a good candidate for this surgery. In February of 2011 I had the surgery. First thing I noticed, there wasn’t any pain in my shoulder. My stay in the hospital, surgery and recovery was only two days. After four days I was off all pain medicine. In six weeks I was out of the sling for good. In three months I had 95% of my movement back. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. This is more mobility than I have had in years.

The recovery time was almost less than the other surgeries plus more movement. I would recommend this surgery for those in constant pain or those with hampered movement. I can’t tell you how much better my life is. I am to do more now than I have in years. I am a very grateful patient.”
