What Dr. Wayne enjoys about being a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor:
“What has drawn me to my specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has been my fascination with the intricate functioning of the muscle and nerve systems. The specialty emphasizes how the various systems of the body work together to optimize function. On a larger scale, the specialty embodies a team approach in order to improve a person’s function and quality of life. My personal passion for fitness and my love of sports has added to my love for my profession. I have always made it my goal to be an excellent listener, and use a variety of skills and tools at my disposal to not only accurately diagnose my patients, but also to provide them with the ability to maintain or regain an active and high quality lifestyle. It remains my mission to provide my patients with a firm understanding of their diagnoses and to meticulously walk them through my treatment recommendations. I pride myself on offering treatments as pain-free as possible.”
