Plantar Facsiitis
Plantar fasciitis is a very common condition seen in patients of all ages. Patients with plantar fasciitis often describe heel pain that is worse with the first steps taken in the morning or after sitting for a period of time. The pain often improves with activity. Stretching, orthotics and injections are initial treatments for plantar fasciitis and in most cases provide significant relief. If these conservative treatments are unsuccessful, modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques, can help alleviate the patient’s pain.
